Farming

Agriculture is the culmination of everything that goes into running farms and other places that grow crops. Agriculture managers maintain and evaluate things in agriculture, such as diseases, market conditions, soil conditions, weather, production needs, and sometimes even available federal programs. Some of the processes are to plan, oversee, and sometimes even help with planting, fertilizing, and harvesting.

IoTFI brings technology to the agricultural sector that streamlines irrigation and farming operations. Several sensors monitor the use of resources and the time it takes for a seed to develop fully into a plant. Accurate data from the sensors allows farmers to do the same amount of jobs in less time and boost crop yields.

These devices are linked to the cloud through a cellular or satellite network. Moreover, we are able to receive real-time data and make decisions. These sensors feed the irrigation system and monitor every factor necessary for crop production, including soil moisture, humidity, light, temperature, etc.

IoTFI uses the technology of Lorawan, a low-powered wide-area networking protocol designed to connect the sensors to the internet. The best things about LoRaWan are that it has a long-range, uses little power, and is cheap to connect. Moreover, it implements security for both the device and the network.

Our system enables farmers or managers to monitor their fields remotely and check the water levels in their tanks. Cattle owners may monitor their animals' whereabouts, condition, and welfare. Sick animals can be identified and separated from the herd to get proper attention and cure. Sensors in a smart greenhouse take measurements of the ambient conditions, determine whether they are favorable for plants, and offer important data on temperature, humidity, pressure, and light levels.
